What We Handle Immediately
Leaks need fast action. Some are obvious, like water through a ceiling. Others hide behind tiles, under floors or inside shared risers until the damage becomes visible.
- Burst pipes and leaking joints
- Hidden leaks behind walls or under floors
- Ceiling leaks from bathrooms above
- Central heating pipe leaks
- Leaks in flats, conversions and mansion blocks
- Stopcock issues and emergency isolation
How We Find the Leak
We start with the least disruptive checks first. The aim is to narrow down the source before opening up walls, floors or boxing.
Make Safe
We isolate the water where possible and protect the affected area.
Trace The Source
We check pressure, pipe routes, fittings, bathrooms, heating circuits and visible damp patterns.
Explain Access
If access is needed, we explain exactly where and why before cutting anything open.
Repair And Test
We repair the failed pipe or fitting, then test the system before leaving.
What To Do Before We Arrive
- Turn off your stopcock if water is escaping quickly
- Switch off electrics if water is near sockets, lights or the consumer unit
- Move furniture and valuables away from the leak
- Take photos for your insurer if there is visible damage
- Call 07755 744 889 and describe where the water is appearing
Emergency Plumbing Questions
Can you fix a burst pipe the same day?
In most cases, yes. We carry common fittings and repair materials so urgent pipe repairs can often be completed on the first visit.
Can you help with leaks in shared pipework?
Yes. We work with shared risers, communal pipework and managed blocks. We can also speak with building managers where access is needed.
Will you need to damage walls or floors?
Only if it is necessary. We look for the most targeted access point and explain it before any opening-up work starts.
